And this year the extreme heat has hit so early.
Imagine being without an air conditioner or fan or unable to run your air conditioner because of limited funds to pay the electric bill...
That is exactly the situation many of our elderly and disabled clients find themselves in during the summer months.
We have partnered with PATH - People Attempting to Help - of Tyler to make sure every local Meals On Wheels client who needs a fan gets one. Home Depot has agreed to allow the purchase of fans for a discounted price of $22 to help with our endeavor.
